Since the beginning." she answered.
It's true that Dorothea Spiegel was the first Georgia representative back during the founding days of the writing program that was established by N.C. W.N. to help the isolated, mountain writers of North Carolina and the north Georgia mountains.
Part of Coffee With the Poets also featured an open mic reading.

We beganCoffee with the Poems in 2007 and it has a continuous flow of poets, both members and non-members reading each month at Phillips and Lloyd Books on the square in our lovely little mountain town.
ReplyDeleteGoing downtown at this time of year, I love the white lights all around the square and the fully lighted tree in the Gazebo. I feel I've been transformed into a storybook setting.
