Mountain Wordsmiths

began in 2021 with the idea of enabling poets and writers to stay connected on Zoom during the pandemic. The gatherings were intended to last for six months, but the program grew and the pandemic did not stop. For the foreseeable future, Mountain Wordsmiths will meet on the fourth Thursday morning of each month from 10:30 a.m. until noon on Zoom.

Those wishing to attend may contact Carroll Taylor at vibiaperpetua@gmail.com to receive the Zoom link. Also, those who wish to participate in Open Mic may sign up upon entering the meeting. We welcome those who would simply like to listen to the beauty of wordsmithing.  We are an informal, safe space, so bring a poem or a portion of your short story or book to share at Open Mic. Bring a cup of coffee or tea, too!
